- It's not a bug in HDToolbox. It's the Jaz drive. When HDToolbox scans
- the bus it asks for the defect list from each device. For some bizarre
- reason the Jaz drive goes out validates the entire media when it gets the
- request for the defect list and this is what is taking so long.

- If you run ProbeSCSI on it, you'll see the same thing and after 15 minutes
- or so you'll get the defect list back.
